Using Positive Reinforcement Reinforces Good Parenting

Loving parenting includes using positive reinforcement.  It’s the hearts desire of many parents that their children mature and develop into well adjusted and thoughtful people that are confident and self-regard. Being their parents, we can fulfill these aspirations for our kids with an flowing river of beneficial and loving communication and by using positive reinforcement.

Actions will present themselves through a process of foundational thought in people . If an individuals thoughts are positive and felt, then behavior will be true and pleasing. In retrospect , negatively channeled thoughts may result in an distracted, baffled and frustrated person . Obviously, in our lives, we are granted a clean slate,knowing that a baby develops into a child. As parents, teachers and community leaders we have been given the assignment of leading and cultivating the keepers of the world that will roam and tend to this earth.

As parents, teachers, work supervisors, spouses, friends and family members, we are often driven by our natural tendency to be negative and critical instead of raising positive kids . Sometimes , we have to think about and devote a tremendous number of hard tasking into praising and encouraging. If you think about it, our first thoughts when addressing an issue concerning our kids  , we tend to communicate harsh, negative words. Careful watching  of most human beings produces several causes for this. The child, in an effort to contribute, unwittingly embarrasses the parent when talking in front of mixed company . Another reason may be that the behavior induces inconvenience for the parent. There may also be a lot of social reasons for negative communication such as family pride or the like . An large amount of judgments are given to the child that they not only don’t deserve but they store for later use in pushy actions towards other people either as a child or an adult .

Using positive reinforcement we can tap into an entire abundance of power. This will help develop a more competent, confident and well-balanced child. When working with kids and their schoolwork, the child will respond heartily in his mind and heart to edification, thus paving the way to understanding and learning. These techniques of foundational communication utilize the tools of patience, repose, observance and love. Our commitment to each other and to our children should be to verbalize at very least five positive comments throughout the day, every day. The atmosphere will be much lighter and it requires much less push to achieve everyday tasks and goals.

In any action concerning schoolwork, look first for the positive effort. If an assignment is given to a parent and that parent’s first reaction is negative, it is very unlikely for that child to return for guidance ever again. Development of a positive attitude inside the parent should be paramount and application a must. Praise children to others with the child present. This gives the child an assurance of having a place in this world.

Children are a gift and a treasure. Greet kids every day from an extended days’ absence as if you haven’t seen them in weeks. Show them your warm , beautiful smile and wrap them in your safe, warm hug when they return home. Home should be a place of peace of mind and safety. It has to be a place of holiness where knowing how to support your child will help direct them through their growth and development.
