* DO figure out your budget, so you can check out furniture that’s in your price range.  I’d recommend spending the most on the crib since that’s where your baby will spend most of his/her time.

* DO purchase a cozy glider or rocker, so you and baby are comfy during every late night feeding or story time.

* DO get a variety of lights for your baby’s room including: night light, dimmer light, overhead light and reading light, so you have all the lighting you need for every baby moment.   Remember, when baby comes you’ll want to peak in on your angel when he/she is sleeping.  You’ll want to play in the nursery and read books, so different lighting is important.
