Stroller Wars: Who Will Win?
“Welcome, one and all , to the most talked about match of the century ! In the red corner, we’ve got your champ , known for for the one-handed gravity fold – the full size stroller! In the opposite corner, we’ve got the rising star , the extremely capable challenger – the modern baby buggy!”
As a new mom, sometimes I wonder if this is how the stroller industry operates . Granted , maybe it isn’t quite like a boxing match – but with the number of strollers on the market today, it does appear like there’s a bit of a stroller war happening . And if you’re like me, you won’t even know where to start when choosing one , and how could you? There are full-size, lightweight, double and jogging strollers, travel systems and baby carriages – it made our heads explode when we were trying to pick .
But there’s exciting news for product-overloaded parents like us: we can rest easy . We looked around the internet and stumbled upon a great resource – AlbeeBaby.com made the entire stroller buying process easy to research AND best of all, they had amazing prices. They take all the guesswork out so you can concentrate on what really matters: spending time with your baby .
We posed these questions when looking through their selection :
-
Who will be riding in the stroller? – Two kids? Go with a double stroller. New baby? Travel systems are great . Toddler? Lightweight strollers are really convenient to take anywhere .
-
Who will be pushing the stroller? Pick a stroller that best accomodates the parent who will do the majority of the pushing .
-
Where will the stroller be “strolling?” Some strollers move through tight spaces well, can be stored in limited space or have amazing suspension systems for bumps .
-
What are the safety standards? Make sure you’re comfortable with the standards that the stroller model has.
The stroller that wins the stroller war is the one that fits your family best. In our case, we went with the Bugaboo Cameleon – we live in the urban jungle so we LOVE how well it moves on bumpy streets and narrow aisles , and it doesn’t hurt that it’s really stylish – because parents like you and me shouldn’t have to give up style! But keep in mind , just because picking a stroller was so easy doesn’t mean parenting will be. It’s both a joy and a challenge – and a very rewarding one at that. Having our son changed our lives significantly – for the better! So if you’re in the market for a stroller, take some time to check out AlbeeBaby!
