The Benefits Of Fostering
It can be some what heartbreaking for a couple to find out they are unable to conceive a child of their own. Judy and Brian from London had to deal with such a situation only a few years ago. They had been “trying for a baby” for some time before they decided to go to their local doctor for tests. Unfortunately these tests were to prove that they were unable to have children of their own which as you might imagine came as something of a shock and something of a major disappointment. They then, after a few months, decided to look into the possibility of fostering and this is their story.
After going through all of the run of the mill questionnaires and red tape the couple were finally accepted as foster parents. As people they truly believed that they had a lot to offer and that they had a lot of love and joy that they could bring to a young person.
Cameron who was only two at the time had had some what of a troubled start to life but was a beautiful and bubbly young boy. Judy and Brian went ahead and fostered Cameron three years ago and this has been to the benefit of all parties.
The training for foster carers that was received was also much appreciated by the family.
Cameron now has the stability and dedicated, loving, upbringing any young child deserves and is the picture of happiness. Judy and Brian now feel that they have found the missing piece to their life jigsaw and fully treat Cameron as their own.
Life is good for this young family and they appreciate each and every day that they have together. They have all turned the negative into the positive and are cherishing life.
In conclusion if you are unable to have children of your own then fostering may well be the solution that you are looking for, just as it has been for Judy and Brian.
